You are NEVER alone. We offer counseling and support groups for people living with epilepsy. If you live in the 22 counties our affiliate serves, we encourage you to take advantage of these opportunities! See our offerings below.
Chronic Disease Self Management Program (CDSMP)
What is CDSMP?
The Chronic Disease Self Management Program (CDSMP) is a workshop for adults with at least one chronic health condition, which may include epilepsy. It focuses on disease management skills including decision making, problem solving and action planning.

Parent Support Group
Parent Support Group is a community for parents of children with epilepsy who are looking to connect with other parents.

Adult Support Group
Virtual support group for adults, 18 and over, with epilepsy. It is an open forum for individuals struggling with epilepsy-related issues to freely share and find encouragement from their peers. Please join us for our quarterly support group meetings from 7-8PM.

Studio-E: The Epilepsy Art Therapy Program
You’ll work with art therapists and other individuals with epilepsy in a group setting to create art pieces using a variety of mediums, strengthen your artistic voice and learn from others in an open, welcoming environment.
Saturday In Person Dates: February 10, March 9, April 13, May 11, June 8, July 13, August 3, September 14, October 12 and November 9
Saturday Meetings will be held in-person from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at CREATE Community Studios/Hudson ArtHaus, 621 River St. Troy NY 12180
Thursday Virtual Dates: January 11, February 8, March 14, April 11, May 9, June 13, July 11, August 8, September 12, October 10, November 14 and December 12
Thursday Meetings will be held from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm on the 2nd Thursday of each month via ZOOM ONLY. Contact Sam at schampagne@epilepsyneny.org for sign-on information.
